Training on “Teaching-Learning Methods and Techniques”

IQAC of Uttara University organized Two-day training on “Teaching-Learning Methods and Techniques” on 15 and 16 July 2017 in the IQAC Seminar Hall of the university.  Professor Dr. Md. Mozahar Ali, Director of Graduate Training Institute, Bangladesh Agricultural University was the Resource Person in the training program. Professor Dr. Debi Narayan Rudra Paul, Director of IQAC, Uttrara Univeristy presided over by the program. Sixty faculty members from the different departments of Uttara Univeristy participated in the training program. The participating departments include Business Administration, Computer Science and Engineering, Textile, Mathematics, English, Bengali, Education, Law, Physical Education, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Civil and Environmental Science, Fashion Design and Technology. The objective of the training program was to enhance the quality of classroom deliberation of the teachers. Prof. Ali discussed about different topics related to teaching-learning methods and techniques such as, Bloom’s taxonomy of learning, non-verbal communication in teaching, designing lesson plan, curriculum format, and course profile.
